We offer a variety of homes, townhouses and cabins
located in the Heart of the Black Hills.
Most cabins are within 15 minutes to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, the 1880 Train and Custer State Park.
Some are near or adjacent to snowmobile trails
for winter getaways.
FULL SEASON rates apply from May 28, 2010 through September 6, 2010.
OFF-SEASON rates are effective September 8, 2009 through May 27, 2010 and September 7, 2010 through May 26, 2011.
A major credit card is necessary to secure your reservations.
We accept VISA, MASTER CARD and DISCOVER.
A processing fee of 3% is charged for all transactions. We will waive this transaction fee for any reservation paid in full by check, cash or traveler's checks.
Holiday and special events reservations are
non-refundable.

MOST CABINS REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY
FROM MEMORIAL DAY THROUGH LABOR DAY.
All UNITS ARE EQUIPPED WITH TV, VCR & DVD,
MICROWAVE, OUTDOOR GRILL
AND PRIVATE PHONE LINE.
Kitchens have dishes, silverware, cookware,
coffee pots and toasters.
All units are furnished with towels and linens.
Check out time is 10:00 A.M. We can usually guarantee check-in by 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. in most cabins.
We are licensed for lodging only.
Tents and campers are not allowed on most of our properties.
See Jade Place for exceptions.
Please keep in mind that we are not an "off the road" business.
99% of our reservations are taken months in advance
and it is difficult for us to fill cancelled reservations.
You will be given cancellation or changes deadlines
when you make your reservation.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event that an emergency
causes you to cancel or shorten the reservation commitment
you have made, your deposit is nonrefundable
if after the cancellation deadline.
In good faith, we will make every effort to re- book
your cabin and if we are able to do so in it's entirety,
we will gladly refund your deposit.
The more prior notice we are given, the better
the chance we will have to re- book the dates cancelled.
We have a minimum of a 1 month cancellation period during the off season, and we require 2 months notice of cancellation during the peak summer season.
(This includes days deleted from your reservations.)
All cancellations are assessed a $35.00 fee.
A private phone number will be given to you
at the time of making your reservations.
Please notify friends and family who may need
to reach you during your vacation as we are unable
to connect to these units from our reservations line.
Do not count on your cell phone as your source for communication while you are here in the Black Hills.

All cabins are located in the National Forest
Service Fire Protection District.
Fireworks, bonfires and fire pits are prohibited.
The cabins accommodate only the number of people as listed, including children of all ages.
We do not allow more than the listed number of people to congregate on the property at any one time.
No pets allowed in any cabin from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

All of our cabins are licensed by the South Dakota Department of Health. We comply with Department of Revenue and local zoning ordinances to assure the best quality for our guests.

May 13-15th Black Hills Film Festival - Celebrating the art of the moving image with screenings and special programs in picturesque Hill City and Crazy Horse Memorial.
May 29th-31st Memorial Day Weekend Open House at Crazy Horse Memorial The "Legends in Light" multimedia program starts its 2010 season this weekend and shows nightly throughout the summer.
June 5th & 6th Crazy Horse Volksmarch - 25th annual Crazy Horse Volksmarch hike to the face.The Crazy Horse Volksmarch is a 10K (6.2-mile) hike to the arm of the world's largest mountain carving in progress. The most popular organized hike in the United States.
June 18 - 20th Crazy Horse Stampede Rodeo and Gift from Mother Earth Celebration - The 20th annual Crazy Horse Stampede Rodeo is one of the few rodeos with both a Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association (PRCA) events and Great Plains Indian Rodeo Association (GPIRA) events.

June 26-27th Sculpture in the Hills A juried sculpture show and sale featuring artists from across the nation along with city-wide events.
June 10-13th, 15-20th Black Hills Playhouse Leading Ladies - Two English Shakespearean actors find themselves down on their luck when they hear of an old lady in New York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews. They resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives to get the cash. The trouble is, when they get to York, they find out that the relatives aren't nephews but nieces!
June 24-27th, 29th-July 4th Black Hills Playhouse Fuddy Meers - Claire, an amnesiac, awakens each morning as a blank slate. One morning Claire is abducted by a limping, lisping man who claims her husband intends to kill her. The play culminates in a cacophony of revelations, proving everything is not what it appears to be. Recommended for mature audiences.
July 3rd Fireworks at Mt. Rushmore
July 3rd 1880 Train Fireworks Express - Depart from Hill City at 7:30pm and travel to the viewing area. Champagne or soda will be served on the train. Once there you will de-board the train, have a deluxe picnic box and view the fireworks. Fireworks are viewed from the side of Mt. Rushmore, approximately 1-2 miles from the memoria. July 8-11th, 13-18th Black Hills Playhouse Return to Forbidden Planet - The plot follows the crew of a routine survey flight under the command of Captain Tempest. Their spaceship is drawn mysteriously to the planet D'Illyria where mad scientist Dr Prospero and his lovely daughter Miranda are marooned.
July 22-25th, 27th -August 1st Black Hills Playhouse Little Shop of Horrors - A down and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul mouthed, R&B singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite.
